Gamers! Happy New Year!
2023 has been pretty tough time for personally, as I have been going through a work termination process as the company I worked for is now undergoing major renovations. It sucks to not have a job, but at the same time, I am feeling a weight off my shoulders. Its an odd space to be in. For the longest time I’ve been worried about what this situation would look like or what I was going to do and now I’m living that moment right. Thankfully I came up with some ideas and I’m going to have more time to focus on the things I really care about like studying, more writing, gaming, and artwork. I’ll also have some the chance to dive into the insane backlog of games that I have sitting in my library that I need to play through as well.

There were a bunch of solid titles that came out last year and I did not get a chance to write about them, but I’m currently putting all those posts together and will be publishing them simultaneously with this years posts. Really quickly though some of my quick favorites which I did not get the chance to finish playing were: Starfield, Baldur’s Gate 3, Armored Core 6, Immortals of Aveum, Lords of the Fallen, Remnant 2, God of War Valhalla (DLC), Final Fantasy 16, and Lies of P. There are a few more that I had purchased that I will write about as well, but those were the main ones I started playing, then had to put them on hold.
Moving forwards into 2024, I am excited that there is much more to come as this year unfolds. Personally, I’m hoping to hear more news on Insomniac’s Wolverine game (assuming they will continue to develop the game despite the situation last year). After that, I’m super excited for: Warhammer 40k Space Marine 2, Dragon’s Dogma 2, Granblue Fantasy: Relink, Sand Land, Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2, Little Nightmares 3, and Star Wars Outlaws this year. There is still some time before these games come out, but in the mean time, I’m still diving into the addictively fun Palworld. This year is just beginning, and so far it looks like there is a lot to look forward to. I hope all these developers are able to see these major titles through and I hope we can begin to see some new games that change up the redundancy of what we’ve come to expect from modern games. I hope all you had a great new years and have awesome plans ahead. As always, thank you so much for your time and I wish you all an amazingly positive and successful new year!
